President Abraham Lincoln proclaimed Nevada

President Abraham Lincoln proclaimed Nevada as the 36th state to join the Union. Coming from the Spanish word meaning “snow capped,” Nevada is nestled within the Great Basin Range Province and is home to numerous types of environments. This variety is not only limited to climates and landscapes but, more importantly, Nevada is rich in its diversity with those who inhabit our beautiful state. With this, we are very honored to serve you tasty cocktails made with fresh ingredients from local sources as well as brilliantly crafted beers and wines from throughout this great region.

At 1864 Tavern we not only want to showcase Nevada’s bountiful history, imbibing culture, and long honored traditions, but we especially want to celebrate our current achievements as a community.

The future is bright for Nevada.

Come in and Celebrate Nevada with us.

Awesome bar. Great drinks! Nice atmosphere and not too loud. There are tons of board games in the corner that are free to use. A popcorn machine near the entrance that you can snack on!

At first, I was a little skeptical but I decided to give this bar a chance. I was greeted quickly and presented with the current drink menu, which was full of very creative mixtures. The bartender or bar manager, whatever he referred to himself as was very knowledgeable and quick. I would recommend and plan to go back.

I went with Kelly Rush to the 1864 Tavern, on Tuesday. It was my first time there, the staff is amazing, great cocktails and customers. Such a comfortable atmosphere, I feel like I have been going there for years. Can’t wait to come back. Thanks, Clint Jolly & Dylan, can’t wait to come back!
